About the role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our team and work on a real product, with direct impact on technical and product decisions. The role is aimed at a junior profile with a solid technical foundation, eagerness to grow, and the ability to learn fast in a demanding environment that combines software, hardware, and biology.

Responsibilities

Software development

  • Backend development and maintenance in .NET / C#.
  • Frontend development with Angular.
  • API design and business logic evolution.
  • Participation in technical decisions with the team.
  • Propose technical improvements or new features based on real customer usage of the product.

Cloud and infrastructure

  • Deployment and maintenance on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3).
  • Support with environment configuration and process automation.

Product and user

  • Understand the product and the reasoning behind each decision.
  • Ensure the frontend not only works, but looks and feels right: visual hierarchy, consistency, clarity.
  • Communicate with judgement when something is not well resolved at the interface level, and propose alternatives.

On an occasional basis

  • Collaboration on software-hardware integration tasks when the project requires it.

Requirements

Essential

  • Solid foundation in software development, with real projects to demonstrate it.
  • Ability to learn fast and proactive attitude.
  • Technical English sufficient to read documentation.
  • A degree of aesthetic sensibility: no need to design, but able to tell when something is well resolved visually and when it is not.

Nice to have

  • Experience with .NET / C#
  • Experience with Angular or a similar modern framework
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud
  • Docker, CI/CD, or automation
  • Use of AI tools for development or prototyping
  • Interest in biology or life sciences

What we offer

  • Work on a real product with impact.
  • A rich learning environment: software, hardware, and applied biology.
  • Real progressive responsibility.
  • Genuine participation in technical and product decisions.
  • Small team, direct decisions.
  • On-site in Avilés, with flexibility to work remotely based on team needs.
